COMPLEX IRON
We often tend to blame stress, the contemporary lifestyle and family tasks when a general fatigue sets in that lasts. However, even in the absence of anemia itself, iron deficiency can cause a whole series of unpleasant signs. This phenomenon is common in women who, due to their periods, regularly lose a few micrograms of this essential element. But also growing children and adolescents, the elderly or those suffering from chronic ailments, and high-level athletes are also subject to changes in their iron levels.
IRON COMPLEX is a food supplement based on spirulina, acerola, B vitamins and iron gluconate to help you overcome fatigue related to lack of iron.
- Spirulina
Spirulina is the name given to the food obtained from cyanobacteria of the genus Arthrospira. It grows on the surface of lakes in tropical and subtropical zones, in warm waters with a high pH. This microorganism measures a tenth of a millimeter and appears in the form of a green filament coiled on itself. Spirulina grows in tropical and subtropical regions (35 ° North and 35 ° South). It is the dwarf pink flame which during its migratory flights allowed this cyanobacterium to be transported to new habitats and to proliferate there. Spirulina has an exceptional composition, that is to say it contains many minerals, trace elements, vitamins and anti-oxidants. It is particularly famous for its:
- 65% of good quality proteins because they contain all the essential amino acids and are highly assimilable.
- Gamma-linolenic acid (GLA): essential fatty acid, present in breast milk and very rare otherwise
- Its pigments such as beta-carotene or phycocyanin.
It is all of these nutrients that explains its many benefits for our health, namely:
- Help in case of fatigue.
- Promotes tone and vitality of the body and to feel more energetic.
Iron complex and B vitaminsVitamin B9
Vitamin B9, called folic acid, is an essential vitamin in important biological reactions. It is found in liver, wheat germ, yeast, spinach etc. Vitamin B9:
- Contributes to normal blood formation
- Contributes to the normal metabolism of homocysteine
- Helps reduce fatigue
- Contributes to normal psychological functions.
Vitamin B12
Vitamin B12, or cobalamin, is an essential nutrient for the proper functioning of the body. A vitamin B12 deficiency can be the cause of some anemia.
It comes exclusively from food of animal origin.
- Contributes to the normal formation of red blood cells
- Helps reduce fatigue
- Contributes to the normal functioning of the nervous system.
IronIron plays an essential role in many biological functions. It is involved in the constitution of hemoglobin (respiratory pigment which ensures the exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide with the external environment), myoglobin (form of oxygen reserve of the muscle) and enzymes that play a major role in many metabolic reactions.
Apart from iron requirements linked to the need to compensate for physiological losses in life, certain behaviors can be responsible for an increase in iron requirements. Iron is present in variable amounts in many foods, but only a fraction of the iron consumed is actually absorbed, so the "real" iron intake depends on the iron content of the diet (therefore the iron content of the food), but also the bioavailability of this iron (ie its ability to be absorbed and used) and the iron status of individuals. In these situations, supplementation will be indicated. The iron :
- Helps reduce fatigue
- Contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system
- Contributes to the normal formation of red blood cells
